Admissions Process
Admissions for 2025-2026 begins February 1, 2025
All parents interested in enrolling children in Transitional Kindergarten, Kindergarten, and 1st -8th grade are invited to tour the school, visit our classrooms, meet the teachers and ask questions. Tours are available by appointment on Tuesdays and Thursdays. To schedule a tour click here
TK & Kindergarten Students
Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten student readiness is determined by the school Benchmark Assessment. Our Transitional Kindergarten program is for children who are academically ready for school, but are not quite ready for Kindergarten.
All families interested in enrolling at Westchester Lutheran School must submit the following information:
- Last Student Report Card (1st - 7th Grade candidates)
- Student Standardized Testing Card (K - 7th Grade candidates)
- Teacher Recommendations (optional)
- Testing is required for students entering TK-7th Grade
- Testing and an Interview with our principal is required for students entering 5th-7th Grade
1st – 8th Grade Students
Testing is required for students entering grades 1st through 7th. Testing will be done by appointment only. If you are interested in enrolling at WLS, call the school office at 310-670-5422 to set up a testing time. A testing fee is due prior to testing and is non-refundable regardless of testing results.
Results will be provided after the test is completed and evaluated. An enrollment link will be emailed to parents upon acceptance to Westchester Lutheran School.
Testing for new students is schedule for Saturday, February 15 and March 22, 2025. Students entering 2nd-8th grade, please complete the NWEA Map Grade Level Placement form Click Here and return to the school office by Monday, February 10, 2025.
